The problem is we hype our team up we SHOULD NOT.

Couldn't have put it better myself. before every world cup/euro championships 90% of the nation believe we are all of a sudden 'world beaters'. When was the last time England were ever that good? before my time thats for sure.

From what I can see the team hasn't changed much in recent years. We were poor then, but this year we will win the world cup!? I still believe we can qualify, but once in the knock out stages against some of the big boys, these performances will just not be good enough. Hopefully the lads will turn it round and prove me wrong

This is why I've always been against the old argument that there are 'too many foreign players in the premier league'. If this is Englands best 23 players, imagine what we'd be watching week in week out in an all English Premier League!!:yikes:

You've got a lad on the bench who can change a game with one pass or shot in Joe Cole and he never even got 5 minutes on the pitch:incazzato: James Milner grafts his a**e off every game, Defoe can score goals and Wright Phillips is another live wire

I say start all four of these lads and drop the petulant babies that have all but ruined out tournament
