Another day in the life of a tiler

The guy gets about £90 something a week plus a disability allowence for his illness, the teacher who he lodges with gets a carer payment. That how he pays for the booze, **** and chemicals

I did a bathroom remodel years ago for a guy that was what I call a professional pot smoker. He came home each day at lunch and took several bong hits. He then got home at ~330 or 400 each afternoon and took more bong hits and started drinking beer. Many days, he would come into the bedroom, position himself in the doorway to watch what I was doing, set the bong on the windowsill, and sit down on his cooler of beer. Somehow, with only two hands, he could keep a beer, cigarette, and the bong going simultaneously. 😀 He was courteous enough to be sure to blow the cigarette smoke and the bong hits out of the window in the bathroom.:lol:

Gotta be honest it does sound like what happens when me and Wivs work together. After the set out we seem to end up in a pub and get drunk on shandy and phone hairdressers and stuff, then go home and moan that the job is now a day behind and were skint. So what we normally do is the same thing all over again the next day!!!

Sounds a LOT like when me and my Brother get together on jobs, we have quietened down a bit now though :smilewinkgrin:

It normally takes just the smallest thing like your spirit level being just slightly out of reach while your on your knees for one of us to get the hump then it's straight off to the pub lol. Terrible really but great at the time though.
