Nice job! Just a note on the waste pipe, use hair felt around the pipe where it comes into contact/close any wood (looks pretty close or is touching in pics). This will stop any creaking/clicking/tapping noises which could happen when the pipe gets hot and expands.

Entire drain area filled with cement, wedi system, note the kinda box round about it, pretty good system, thanks for the heads up on the felt.

if I understand it rite you've put cement all around that open box in pic 2? was it ground level or if not wouldn't that be too much weight for the ceiling below?

Great job trevortine .Always like that type of install "start to finish " .Can you tell me what type of tiles are on the walls ? Also how many days to complete above bathroom ? Regards .Damian

Cheers lads, I can't actually remember what they were called, 60 x 30 porcelain, they were from a tile shop in Dumfries, will see if I can find out for you, job took seven days to complete, most of which was prep work.

It's only the area around drain that's filled, probably no more than 3 or 4 kilos in weight.
