Leatherface
The owners of the house where I am working have a very large guard dog, it is locked up when customers are not there. They have told me that it would not go for me, but would not allow me to leave, I try and give it a wide berth ! They told me that when they had the builders in, the builders were warned that they could go into back door to use downstairs toilet & through into the kitchen to make a drink, but not to go through into the hallway as this was where the dog was ! Owner came back one day to find the builder and his mate cowering at the top of the stairs in the main hallway. They had ignored her advice and gone into the hall, the dog had allowed them to go upstairs but would not let them come down ( very nasty snarling )
The customer was also very perplexed & annoyed as to why the 2 of them were up there together as they had no need to go up there, as there was a downstairs toilet & the only other rooms up there were bedrooms. She did wonder if they had gone for a kip, or had gone to "get to know each other a bit better", they could not offer a good reason why they were up there.
