Anyone else worked new years day?

Got a call yesterday for a hallway and popped down to see it. Started tiling it today as I can't say no and my next job doesn't start till the end of the week. Only problem was CTD were shut yesterday and today so had to pay TileGiant prices for Mapei gear - so decent profit margin on materials has disappeared.

Anyone else been fixing today?

Didn't get in until half 3 this mornin then passed out on the sofa til half 6. Working today would have been impossible!!

Nah. Never got out of bed till 10am this morning. Late nite at my bros party. Has dinner at the in-laws today. Back tomorrow. Bought my materials the other day so I'm in no rush in the morn to grab bits n bobs

Done a little office floor today. I thought I am the only one who work on New year Day

Bought some kitchen tiles so spent the evening stripping the old ones off. Just got to find the time to retile it now. :lol:
