Anyone members of Chamber of Commerce or Federation of Small Businesses?

Are you any of you guys members of either of these organisations?

If so, have they been beneficial to your business?

Hi mate,

I was a member of the Chamber of Commerce for a few years, but I have to say, other than doing some work for the Chamber in their own toilets once, I didn't get any leads to other work from them, I think my membership was around £110 per year. Hope that helps

Chamber of commerce a waste of time for any one other than retail trade.

My dad was a long term member of the fab though. It never gave I'm any extra business but he got free legal advice and cheap insurance which he reckoned paid for his membership. Not sure if the same benefits would be available today though asi am talking well over ten years ago.
