I posted this question in the arms section but it's probably better here.
I'm taking the opportunity to tile my conservatory floor as a re learning exercise. Every now and again I manage to completely lose the ability to do something I've done with few issues before.
I'm using a round notch flooring trowel - 16mm and pulling the adhesive in one direction at 45 degrees with the flat bits of the notch in contact with the floor.
However this won't in itself give me 100% coverage. The only way I can get this is to raise the trowel up, which I find tricky as it depends on a steady hand to get this right, which I haven't got.
How do you guys manage please? I'm looking at achieving a 3mm bed.
