I finally located sealer to apply to Porcelano tiles prior to grouting.
I do not want to make the same mistake again with staining.
It's a Spanish product and the instructions are straight forward.
It does say apply with a brush or roller and allow to dry befor grouting.
What it does point out, is to not allow it to enter the joints.
I assume it is because it will affect the grouting process by preventing the grout to bond and seal, but I really do no know for sure.
Can anyone enlighten me on this. I just can't picture a trade tiler painting each tile, it would take too long. I'm sure he would apply with a roller and get the job done.
So what about the joints with sealer in?
Maybe I am worrying about nothing.
