Rip out the lot to the bone and re-board.

This is not a standard stud wall with plasterboard each side. It is a honeycomb sandwhich so would involve the whole dividing wall being taken out.

Thanks for all the helpful advise , i've had the plasterer round tonight , ripped out the walls that could be ripped out and he's dry lined them much happier now , for the Paramount board walls he's given me some Feb Blue Grit stuff said paint this on and your laughing **** to the blanket , never heard of this stuff but looks interesting
