I've been installing underfloor heating for about 8 years now, mainly warmup underfloor heating on a coil and a few mats, but am still happy to go on a 'free' course and be listed as an approved installer. Would be great if a course is organised down south (Hampshire would be brilliant :yes:)...

I hope to be meeting up with Danny from Diamond training soon to sort out a training session there too. Please watch either this space or the UFH training Thread.

We are very close to sorting out the requirements for the approved installers list. We have looked on doing something that even guys over your way Davy can take part.

Hi All,

We have now worked out what the requirements are to become a uheat approved installer. Please see below.

If the requirements are not met on a particular installation then that will not count towards the required amount.

The Benefits for you guys and Gals are -

1) Job Leads from uheat customers
2) Preferential prices on uheat products
3) Approved Installer image for business cards
4) Approved Installer Sticker for Van
5) Approved Installer Certificate!! (to hang pride of place on your wall)


Approved Installer Requirements



1) Purchased 3No. underfloor heating systems from uheat / pedarson
2) Warranty forms have been returned, filled in correctly
3) Photos of installations as follows:-
a) Complete Mat / Cable laid out on floor before SLC or Tiling
b) Position of floor sensor / conduit in relation to heating cables
c) Complete floor after SLC (if used)
d) Complete floor on completion of floor finish

4) Public Liability Insurance
5) Electrical works carried out by Part ‘P’ certified electrician (proof of their certification is required on the warranty form)


Optional Requirements

1) Attended Uheat Training Session Broken Link Removed
2) Use of Installation Monitor, PCM2000 (Highly Recommended) Broken Link Removed
