Sibs i can recomend the Mapei 2 part self leveller. Very nice to use. You want a leveller that flows nicely as this will make the task a lot easier.
I hate it when someone else lays the heating mat as they never get it flat, so i have to adjust it.
Also if the mat is laid make sure they dont walk on it before you get there to level otherwise it could be damaged.
