Are you VAT registered?

£82,000 turnover (not profit) is the threshold for 2015/16 financial year. Goes up slightly annually I think. When I registered it was 60k I think!

I've just de-registered, I had to be when I was shop fitting as the turnover was quite high

If I win some commercial contracts I will have to be vat registered. But I am in no hurry.

Was VAT Registered for years , but since the old boy retired and left me to it 10 years ago , I started doing more and more smallish domestic works , not adding 20percent onto the estimates gives me a warm feeling...........
