Asbestos

Hi. Pretty new to tiling and was wondering when and where you should be looking out for asbestos. Also what to do if you have any doubts? Thanks.

Artex and fibre looking boards are quite common areas but if in doubt then contact local authority to check..

False ceilings is another suspect areas. I was stoppped twice last year due to them finding Asbestos above the area I was working.

the old marley lino floor tiles contained asbestos and can be found in many properties!
