Lots of questions for a splashback?? did we get any quotes from the pro's??

Lol well the walls are like a bomb site and want to do it right. So going to use bal quick set render and then a cement based adhesive.

For a splash back?? What size tiles you using?

Its the whole kitchen above worktops. 7 m2 metro tiles.

Walls will need to be pretty pukka if you want a decent finish.

Without seeing the walls I would tile with green star.
I know a lot of peeps don't like ready mixed but for a tile that size & to save the hassle I would use green star..
I had to smash off 4 tiles last week 300x150 ceramics that I had fixed with green star, it wasn't for budging.

Lol. Well the tiles i pulled off had one dab each side and that was it. Wall must have been awful before they tiled. They even tiled over big holes did no even fill them.
