Hi Daz..........Green star is fine for kitchens or bathrooms , but personally would not use it in a shower area even though it does state it is suitable for domestic showers.......well worth the money at £5.99

A white, ready-mixed ceramic wall tile adhesive suitable for use in interior dry and intermittently wet service conditions, including domestic showers.

Suitable for use on cement:sand rendering, brick/concrete, sheets & boards, tile backer boards, plasterboard, plaster, glazed tile & brick and painted surfaces. Conforms to BS EN 12004, Type D, Class 1T.

But wayne wanted to know what the difference between Greenstar and Bluestar was :lol:


DOH!!!! I thought i did...blue star is acrylic and greenstar isn't....just added white star on for good measure........

Brilliant white, high quality, non-slip, acrylic-based, ready-mixed organic dispersion adhesive for fixing porous bodied ceramic wall tiles and mosaics to most interior walls.

hi all,
I was on my plumbing course today & i recieved a txt from topps tiles!
must be a new thing i guess???
anyway it read as follows..............................


bal green star 15kg wall adhesive is now only £5.99 a tub!!! from topps tiles!!

has any one else had this txt or used green star???

Yes a plumber I'm doing some work for at the moment, Got a message a couple of day's ago not sure what it said but mentioned addy

personally i dont use bal adhesives the floor addys are alright the wall adhesive i hate it slips of your trowel etc and too dear

recentley on this commercial job i was on i used dunlop wall adhesive which is owned by bal i think and it was £5.99 a tub good stuff

i stoped useing it when it went above 8 quid a bucket.
