bal mircroflex white grout and Silicon

Absolute rubbish, it is exactly the same!

Mapei & Dow Corning are the only 2 silicones I use.

I have never found a difference between the silicones I've bought from TG or SF.

Me neither, I'm pretty sure that Mapei wouldn't produce a lesser quality product in the same packaging for Screwfix.

I've been using mapei a bit recently and absolutely loving it.

Used micromax grout a few times before they reformulated and found it awlful. The Silicon wasn't much better either.

The new micromax 2 is horrid, I'm glad someone else has said the don't like it, I thought I was going mad!

I hated every second of using it Bri. Was getting the right grumps! I found it smelt awlful too. The Mapei geout on the other hand i'm strangely addicted to the smell 😕

when i went to CTD and moaned about the bal Silicon they said they had complaints about mk 1 but mk 2 was supposed to be better..using mapei 130 tomorrow so hope that looks the part..anyone used tec 7 ?

Couldnt say i haven't had any issues with either Silicon or grout from Bal... I use mainly Weber Grout though

I used webers white grout last week, I think its a very bright white, nice to use and smells fine lol

Ive started using benfer grout. Its lovely to work with and doesn't go sloppy like mapei.
