Thanks lads i have phoned topps and was told they have a new matting tanking system, have you any theories on this ,i want the best way to tank a recessed shower ( bit paranoid about water leaking into new kitchen).I was planning to (here goes) marine ply the floor and paint with an aquaseal paint to seal it.Put up water resistant plasterboard(green) to the 2 sides ,use some sort of tanking system be it bal or the topps matting.to tank the whole shower area including floor Fit the tray then put an upstand sealing strip from screwfix onto the tray, use a Bal white star adhesive on ceramic tiles 330x250,then use a good powered grout(any advice appreciated).Am i heading in the right direction.I was thinking of backerboard and then tank ,but have read thats unnessesary? Any advice please and recommendations would be a god send Cheers
