I thought i heard this on the radio earlier. But missed it as it was on in the background.
RIP The Iron Lady. One of the last British politicians that had the last "balls" to go against the grain and work to get things done and drive this nation forward.

This "Iron Lady" ripped the heart out of every mining community there was from the Midlands right up through to middle Scotland.
I come from one of those community's & I for one will have a beer on the old ...
There's plenty up here who would dance on her grave as we all endured the miners strikes & she used Scotland as a guinea pig for the poll tax!!!

I was too young to vote for her. I don't agree with some of her actions. But i do have a lot of admiration for people who stand by there opinion and have the courage to carry out what they say.
No politition will do right by everybody. That's why there's more than one party. I admire the lady for her British mentality and the fact she had a backbone. Something most MP's seem to be lacking of late.

Second to Churchill, our greatest politician. Stood up for this country and wouldn't let people walk all over us like they do today. She would have eaten Tony Bliar for breakfast.

Could you imagine the likes of Abu Hamza hanging around for long if she was still in charge. He would have been shipped out years ago, along with anyone with a hatred for Great Britain.

She may have broken the mining community but if anyone can tell me what Arthur Scargill did for them, I'm all ears.

strangely i was watching tv ,in last couple of days about how you need 8 hours sleep ,she of course was famous for 3 hours a night.the presenter actually mentioned barroness thatcher.and said she may of made some rash decisions ,because of being sleep deprived.but like or loath her ,me being the former.she had some tough choices to make.and lets face it .theres not a person alive ,that everyone likes.r.i.p
