This "Iron Lady" ripped the heart out of every mining community there was from the Midlands right up through to middle Scotland.
I come from one of those community's & I for one will have a beer on the old ...
There's plenty up here who would dance on her grave as we all endured the miners strikes & she used Scotland as a guinea pig for the poll tax!!!

I was too young to vote for her. I don't agree with some of her actions. But i do have a lot of admiration for people who stand by there opinion and have the courage to carry out what they say.
No politition will do right by everybody. That's why there's more than one party. I admire the lady for her British mentality and the fact she had a backbone. Something most MP's seem to be lacking of late.

Second to Churchill, our greatest politician. Stood up for this country and wouldn't let people walk all over us like they do today. She would have eaten Tony Bliar for breakfast.

Could you imagine the likes of Abu Hamza hanging around for long if she was still in charge. He would have been shipped out years ago, along with anyone with a hatred for Great Britain.

She may have broken the mining community but if anyone can tell me what Arthur Scargill did for them, I'm all ears.

I was being polite when I called him that Bri.

He has brought this country to it's knees along with his champagne socialists buddies, and now he's off swanning about the middle east as a 'peace envoy'. That's going really well apparently.

Him and that witch of a wife, Barrister, human rights etc she was coining it in, almost certainly telling his party what new laws to make and riding on the back of it.

Broken Britain, and we know who broke it!!!

If Labour had still been in power we would be in the same boat as Greece and Cyprus.

Labour policy has always been to spend, spend, spend. When that happens you're only heading in one direction. It's always down to the conservatives to pick up the baton when labour have been kicked out. Then they get it in the neck for cuts. Could you imagine Ed Ballsup running this countries finances. He was Browns advisor when he was PM and he's the bloke who sold our gold reserves at it's lowest price. I've said it before Brown couldn't make money picking tenners up of the floor for a living!!!!!
