Lets see,Man City Christmas Doo a few years ago one of the young players makes a joke about Joey what does he do,he pokes a lit cigar into the lads eye.
Has an argument with one of his team mates at training and beats ten shades of s**t out of him,goes on a asian tour with City and an Everton fan makes a comment and gets into a fight with him,Gets in a punch up with captain Richard Dunne.I could go on and on...
Like someone said before he's exactly the same as Craig Bellamy,don't get me wrong they're both exceptional footballers but the only word to describe them both are tw*ts!
I'd give my right arm to be in there position,they're just spoilt greedy idiots!
Hope he gets sent down and learns to grow up.

he wasnt charged for any of those so they cant be taken into account when he goes to court. what I'm saying is they appear to be making an example of him and throwing the book at him when ordinary joe public gets in a fight on a night out and gets a small fine.

the thing with Richar Dunne was that Dunne wnated Barton to apologise to someone who kicked Barton in a nightclub but Barton wouldnt, as he didnt have nothin to apologise for so they argued and it escalated coz they were pissed.

Also the thing with Barton is that he's been brought up in an environment where violence is a way of life so I dont think he does what he does coz he thinks he's a big shot, he does it because he's always done it. Bellamy on the other hand was brought up pretty well and I think in his case he's just an arrogant c*nt who does think he's a big shot.

he doesnt deserve to be in jail.
