Bath Pannel

Hi All,

I'm Doing A Bathroom Floor Next Week With Porcelain Tiles. The Bath Pannel I Have To Negotiate Is One Of Those Curved Corner Baths So Instead Of Cutting All The Tiles I Intend To Cut The Bath Pannel Instead.

What Is The Best Way Of Cutting The Required Amount Of The Bottom Of A Plastic Bath Pannel?

Careful there Woody, flat panels are bad enough but once you cut the bottom off it will lose all it's rigidity! How is the panel secured? clips? batons?
Cutting wise, some people use a stanley knife but these can slip and go off course (watch your fingers) I use masking tape to mark the line (if it's not straight you can re-do it) then a fine tooth hacksaw blade. (not a junior Hacksaw blade as these bend too easily)

take your time and use a stanley knife,see how panel fits in before tiling then use the height from the ply 12mm if you are using it minimum ,plus the thickness of the tile and adhesive must be taken into account.Add these heights together and thats what you take off the bath panel.In addition you will probably have to do the same procedure for the door.Let us know how it goes WOODY1.

would of been easier to of set the bath at the right height for tiling then there wouldnt be any probs....
