Hi All,

Have a tiling job to do for a friend of mine. Its his bathrom floor upstairs 4sqmtrs. The existing tiles appear to fine although the grout seems to be cracking up.
He wants to replace these tiles and put down new ones as part of re decorating. My question is do i try to bring the tiles up and adhesive or bring the existing board up and put down some sort of tile board ie Hardi.
Dont want to be wasting time in scraping old adhesive.

Also, would the cracking grout be a result of expansion/movement etc or something more sinister below the surface??

Any help greatly recieved
