16 metres wall 4 metres floor its a friend of mine who am doing the job for usually i charge around £20 per metre for ceramics how much would everyone charge hes buying the materials.

I did a job for a mate for free, way back in the midst of time and to be honest I did think "why am I doing this" having said that, two of his friends asked "who was the tiler" and I did a large Kitchen for one and two barn conversions for the other guys mate so its all relative and what goes around comes around.

Did a bathroom for free a few weeks ago for a mate. 600 x 300 rectified porcelain. What a pain it really was, loads of cuts and alot of building out. Took me six days!:yikes:. Longest i ever took, but i was on my own and in no rush, infact i took a day helping my mate set the shower tray and waste then boarding and tanking it.
Mind you there was method in my madness, he is a plasterer and when he asked me about tiling the bathroom he was skint. So i let him use my full discount to buy tiles, told him id do it for nout if he plasterered my new farm shed in return. Think i got the best deal, he was there 4 days with his labourer and it looks real good for an agricultural building. The cows wont appreciate it though!
