The latest series of BBC Dragons Den starts this monday and is set to run for nine weeks.

They have a new dragon. James Cann - who replaces Richard Farleigh.

Having watched all the series and most of the programs myself I have to admit to being a bit of a fan. So Monday nights at 9pm for the next nine weeks should be a bit of light entertainment after a hard days work...

They are grumpy looking buggers though aren't they.

Lets hope this year they get to see some better investment oppertunities.

Apparently there is one guy on there who invented a ping pong ball that you put down the toilet. Is has a face on it which you wee on.

The idea seemed to be to concentrate mens minds into aiming.

That snippet was from Peter Jones who was on Breakfast TV plugging the new series.

Oh well !

I'm pretty hooked on it myself actually. I guess the ping pong ball guy doesn't get any cash. :)

I keep seeing an advert for Dragons Den with some really funky sound-track which reminds me of a tune from gone in 60 seconds. Does anybody know the name of either of the tracks I'm talking about? (by chance)

I loved the gold plating machine last episode.

I think the tune is the DMX one or one similar from the above list. Anybody know for sure?

Croc - I think you're probably right, Richard / 365drills would benefit from getting on dragons dens or trying to get Theo to hear him out a little.

Did anyone see the guy who came on last year with his adhesive aplicator, i nearly pissed myself, he couldnd even get the fu**ing thing on his back. Anyway how much time would that save you, you can probable apply an even m2 coat of addy in less than a minute. No invention there. A £15 trowel def the quickest.

Yes apparently the guy who invented the adhesive glue spreading gun walked into PTS training over in Harlow. And when they saw who it was and what it was they laughed!

Not the reaction he wanted.

This thing was so cumbersome to use and to clean that any savings it made on adhesive application was wiped out against the lost time and energy maintianing the equipment.

I tried to find it on the interet but there is no trace of it... I believe it was Series 4 episode 6.
