Been working on a 48 m2 floor & wall on-suite, no trims.....:mad2: so its kept my mind busy.
Got home and burst into tears! I felt better yesterday but got to me today.
The best memory I have of Andy , apart from the first day at Hendon training scholl and becoming firm mates, is the fact we ended up at the same police station, Kennington Road, London, SE1.
We were at the poll tax riots, 5am till 12 pm. I only remeber Andy knicking this girl who threw a concrete block at out police coach.
Any way, I got back to Tooting section house, behind the station, and there was a whole load of off-duty coppers with crates of beer for us. I got stuck in, and around an hour later Andy turned up looking like crap!
He was released from his arrest in a central London holding tank, he had lost his helmet and had to make his way back to our station on foot with no radio, hence he got some stick!
And we got pee'd!
