beginners tiling courses

Hi All,

This looks like a friendly place!

I'm a diy tiler (if there's such a thing), but now I'd like to learn the correct way.

Has anyone attended a one-week/two-week beginners tiling course? I was thinking of the BAL course.I realise there's no alternative to experience but as an intro to doing it properly, I wonder whether this, and other courses like it, are worth the expense.

Just wondering what people think . . .

A BAL course is clearly a lot of BAL related stuff. The aim is to train new tilers with BAL so they use BAL for the rest of their lives. Having done 2 BAL courses myself (though years ago) I'd say opt for an independent training centre.

Just my view.

All the best with whatever you choose though.
