Getting your website ranked number one for 'tiler in XXXXX' can get you every hit for a person searching the net for a tiler, and providing it's a decent site you'll get calls, then providing you sell yourself a bit and offer a free estimate you'll get your foot in the door, then providing you talk the talk and walk the walk you should get a good chance of getting the job.

I chose ord of mouth above although for NEW TILER I reckon a website, all the free listings with Yell etc, then all the listings you can get in on websites like FindTrustedTradesmen.co.uk - Find tilers, plumbers, plasterers, electricians, builders, bathrooms specialists and more. and then some leaflets, good business cards in shops and a nice sign written van will give you a good start and get your name out there somewhere.

Retired over 3 yrs ago...still get the odd call for me to do some more.....Pass my mate Clarky's number over to them....deffo word of mouth.....Gaz
