Best cutter?

M3 if you can get hold of one they are very are now they are worth a lot, thats why i don't use it now, Stef and Deano see it in my van at Rays the other week.

How much do you want for it Andy ? name your price ;-)

I have the Rubi Tr 500, 600 & 700, these three do nine out of ten jobs for me without a problem. I can feel the slight lack of breaking power on the 700 when doing large format porcs, the rails bend slightly and it bounces. Want to purchase a TX 700 instead to replace my TR (which is good for most other things) have used one several times and can really feel the difference in the snap power and the strength of the rails. I have tried out a Sigma at a demo but it wasn't for me, to see your mark is bloody difficult and there is something that feels odd about pulling rather than pushing IMO. Never used a Montolit so can't comment.

Sigma do a push version for those used to that way of cutting.
It does take some getting used learning where the marks are. I draw a line smack on the centre of the guide rail, i look down at the centre rail and line this up with mark, then move the marks on the tile to line up with the centre rail and then score.
The lads didn't like my Sigma at first for that reason, but without any prompting the Sigma was being used all the time and not the TS's. So you do get used to it.

Ive just got a sigma, im using it on the job im on now instead of my tx700n, it is a good cutter, its a push one, i like the fact im sat right over the measuring bar , i can line it up perfect (ish) 🙂

'ish' lol......

Once you get used to the way a Sigma cuts you won't go back to another cutter.
My Sigmas are really smooth, a quick spray with WD Silicon spray & it glides along.
I can vouch for Andys TS 20, it's a belter of a wee cutter & it's the 1st one I've seen in the flesh.
Have saw a couple for sale over the years on eBay.
