Best Method To Remove Paint

The last few times I come acroos painted walls I've spent a while sanding them, and it's taken ages. I've been using an ordinary sander with 60 grit paper. Has anyone got any better suggestions? What sander works best?

I've had a wallpaper steamer in my hand all day and my scraper was sharp when i started but managed to do just under 40m2 back to plaster ready for primer Monday morning.

But be careful with the steamer, as it could crack the plaster, if you go ott with it.

You dont realy need to remove it all.

If you want to make lighter work of it, go over it all with a 4inch belt sander, nos messing about with these bad boys.

It sometimes depends what paint is on the wall, silk and bathroom paint are hard work if applied properly.....

The best and easy way to remove paint is to use a paint removal powder and liquede and remove your paint
