Hello, I’m laying slate tile (indoors) for the first time, and need help choosing a sealer. Has anyone used Adseal Water Based Sealer (Matt)? We dont want a glossy floor, but if the slate was to darken a bit with the sealer, we would be ok with that. It will be in the front vestibule, so will be high traffic, and likely often exposed to muddy/wet wellies. Any advice is much appreciated :)

Thanks, Dave. I see a solvent-based as well as a water based... do you know if the water-based one would be just as durable? Thanks :)
The water is just the carrier, so depending on the surface tension it’ll be fine but over applying a solvent based sealer might affect the glue holding the split faced together.
