Best way to raise existing screed height/depth

Hi All. Please help. We are 20mm short after putting down the screed before laying limestone tiles (20mm + adhesive). How can we add another 20 mm on top of screed. Can we use 20mm flow screed? Thanks

Use 20mm insulation boards if the screed is none heated ... if heated then you can use fibre enhanced SLC

Not generally as most flowscreed should need minimum 25mm to be laid bonded. You might e able to use a levelling compound but that would be pricey. As dave says your best option assuming the screed is not heated would be to use 20mm insulation boards....

At 20mm it might be a couple days to lose all moisture
and yes most tilers can SLC

Which SLC product would you recommend. Its just been mentioned that i may need 30mm over an are of 77sq mtrs. Vbrg

At 30mm you will be getting about 0.5 m2 per bag, so around 154 bags, that's going to cost a pretty penny. At £20 per bag that's 3 grand.
