I'm looking to get myself a vehicle so i can look more professional as a tiler......... I was wondering what others use.

Obviously it's needs a fairly bit boot space & capable of taking a bit of weight ever y now & then.

The only thing is i also need my car to carry my kids around so i was looking for something with 5 doors, but something that has space to put my logo & name etc etc.

I originally thought of a 4x4 like a trooper, pajera, narava or something along those lines but i realise they can be very juicy & expensive to run. I was gonna put logo & name on the spare wheel cover.........

Just wonder if there are suggestions.....

Thanks.

Mike

I can't afford to run a car and a van at the moment either Mike. I bought a T reg Jeep, 40,000 miles on the clock for £3200. You can use a 4x4 to work in and as a family car ( you may have to lug the tools in and out though ). They are jucier but you obviously save only having to run one vehicle, and try to get a diesel. I think it's a good compromise until finances allow you to run both.

More to a car than the amount of equipment it has!

Lets see if you could keep up with him round the hills and glens here in the Highlands, I would probably suggest not.

I do like the look of the Renualt traffics. Was wondering to get something like that myself because at the moment I have a C280 Mercedes petrol car (Killer 22mpg) and a Smart. Was thinking of trading the Merck for a van to do exhibition work etc.

My other option was to fit a towbar on the Merck and TOW the Smart which I would be able to fill up with all the exhibition equipment but my wife doesnt like the idea of having a trailer sitting about.

Ebay are running an auction for this little van but it only has 2 seats
