What's the biggest tile you've used?

Was on a job on a Chinese restaraunt last week and the tiles were 120x30. The biggest machine I have will take up to 75cm so the longways cuts were a two man wetsaw operation.

He also has some 90x90 sitting that he's wanting laid at a later date.

The biggest I have fixed are 600 x 600 Porcelain. The heaviest I have fixed were 500 x 500 Yorkstone. The biggest I have worked on were 1200 x 1200 x 40mm Travertine glad I only had to repair, hone and polish them though and not fix them:lol: I dread to think what they weighed each! At least a 100KG at a guess

600 x 300 floor to ceiling, those buggers weighed more the further up the wall i went. :mad2:

been doing 800 by 800 by 15 polished porcelain since last wednesday heavy buggers, backs been a bit sore all weekend, thank god the sigma cuts dem.

120 x 60 x 20 at T5 Heathrow airport, man they were heavy and you had to use a suction lift to gt em up, down and all around.

Health and safety n all that!!

Wet saw cuts were taking upto 10 mins each as the contractors wouldnt get a decent blade!

1 mtr x 1 mtr porcelain restaurant floor 3mm joints about 4 years ago and 140 x x 60 granite a little heavy lolete

915mm x 305 ceramic, 1m2 x 1m2 x 20mm porcelaine but the hardest had to be 1200x 600 triple compressed geo stone, weigh about 90lb each, real arm burner.

1200x1200 x 40mm thick super compressed honed limestone.

The job was 300m2 and the tiles were stacked in the shed beside the main house and with no pathes or landscaping, so using a trolley to move them around was near on impossible. Ended up using a yoke and slings they weighed 85kg a pop.

1,2 x 1,2 m tile in a parfume shop.
1 big custom made granite tile 3 x 1,9 m, absolute heavy to handle.

120 by 60 thought they were paving slabs when I first saw them,doing a wet cut was a balancing act.
