Nope! It has some use as a floor overlay but has zero place anywhere else.
It's heavy, water sensitive, dangerous with its dust, difficult to cut and fix... You get the picture.

I'd simply rough it up with sand paper and tile it with tilemaster ultimate. For domestic use, it'll be fine.
