Hi Guys

This might be a really stupid question and excuse me if it is, but would black grout look silly with the above tiles? I think white tends to make them look a bit cheap, they are going in both my kitchen and bathroom.

I think in the bathroom white would be fine with the white suite etc but I am having Walnut cupboards in the kitchen and think Black grout would look better.

Any advice would be grateful.

Thanks
Channyfro

Thanks for sharing that - they look lovely!!, can't wait for mine to go up now! Oh you have me in two minds now.... but then again these are against a White Kitchen, I am having darker cupboards, do you think it will make much difference??

Does that mean your having a two tone kitchen? base units a different colour to the wall? If so what colours?

I'm having off white walls with Walnut cupboards and black worktop and obviously the black tiles. The kitchen is very bright, massive window.

I just thought the white grout worked better with white cupboards, Oh I don't know I am all confused now lol.

Ok so if I'm reading that right, the units are white but the doors will be walnut? Why are they not using decor panels on the cupboards or colour coded units, or are you going for white decor panels?

Trouble with black grout against black tiles is there could be a shade difference resulting in the grout looking more grey than black IMO. I stand by my opinion that white would be my choice.
I Agree with Neale. If it was my kitchen I would go for white. You will lose the effect of the bevel and the brickbond if the grout matches the tile. If you are looking for a "slab" effect wall, you would be better with flat tiles and the matching grout in my humble opinion.
