It seems that a couple of bad results is all it takes to get a manager the chop nowadays, I'm sure all the long term premier league managers didn't have instant sucess ( Ferguson, Wenger) but have had alot of sucess over a long period ( Arsenal not so much recently but Wenger has a good history with them). Chelsea and Man City are prime examples of club that try to buy instant sucess, but it doesn't work, It took Chelsea 3 seasons or so to win the league after Abramovich took over and City have nothing so far. It takes more than a few million and a few months to build a world beating, trophy winning club team.

Heard it on the radio in the studio, and that the decision was made by the new owner, an Indian chicken company?? Did I hear that right? And that they obviously didn't know anything about football ..:lol: 4 wins out of 7 isn't bad, surely? It's an odd world...
