Bleak afternoons

Hi All
Now that the days are shortening and the quality of light is detearating.Intrested in what type of lighting folk use?
I've used the double Halogen but find the bulbs seems to go quick,get very hot can be a bit clumbersome but do seem to create a reasonably bright area when working.
Worked once with the vertical type strip light but found it wasn't as powerful as i'd have prefered for acurate work.
Have thought of getting a cable with about 5 light sockets on to hang around the ceiling,anyone used this method before or any other type of lighting their happy with.
Don't think it helps nowadys with the new style light bulbs-very soft light.

I use one of these Kev, handy with the two 110v sockets too

When needed i have a 110v light in the van which i paid £55 for,it is a small upstand type with two energy bulbs inside which when warmed up are brilliant.Also on the back of this there is two 110v outlets !! ye ha. Very useful.

For my work, I try to insist on at least 90% of the finished lighting, in the same position and the same lux, or as near as poss don't always get it

Change the halogen for a smaller rating and they last for ages. I put 300w into the 500 lamps and dont have a problem.

The newer LED lights are good

these are the one's i use mate,!! i have four of them and you can plug one to another and you end with an extra plug for mixer/radio all in 110v
