Bloody knees..

My left knee is swollen like hell... A hazard of the trade i know...

It goes down over night a bit , but as soon as i kneel on it , up it comes again.. :mad2:

So i am off today ( hospital visit for wife) and then back at it weds , but if i cannot get the swelling under control then it looks like a few days off over the bank holiday weekend.... At least being self-employed i have the choice to take time off as and when i like but lose money in the process.

I get a flare up rarely but when it does by god it flares up. ffs.. last night it swelled right down to my ankle..😳

Oh the joys of being a Tiler.. :smilewinkgrin: ... it is one of those times that retiring with a lotto win would be good..

Im off today as the cat needs to see the vet. Since he got his wotsits chopped off he developed a limp on his right front leg.

A kick in the balls would make your eyes water , so if a limp is what he gets from chopped of nuts then he got off lightly :lol:

Nightmare, been their many times, try resting it as much as poss, easy to say, hard to do I know..

I have a problem with my knees, now got Osteoarthritis have been prescribed Diclofenac Sodium they do help if I go a day without taking the pills I'am in agony give them a try they certainly work for me.

Little swelling today , it is as soon as i kneel on it.. bumffff up it comes..

Sorry to hear that Dave. Hope whatever it is can be sorted or goes away. I've wore pads all my days. Was driven into me as a kid. Hated it back then but thankful for it now!

I wear knee pads but all the yrs are catching up i think ..

Still got the body weight on the knees, occupational hazard that we have to bare. Of course knee pads help a lot.

Knees ,bad backs, dermatitis, dust and tennis elbow ! Who said tiling was easy on the body ?

Backs and knees... the shelf life of a tiler... always Naproxin & Diazapan on my medicine shelf.. No Viagra yet though lol !!

i use these quite a lot mate ! they can give you heart attack if you use them to often, and i got addicted to them a few years ago, i had big red eyes and yellow complexion !! they are great for pains though !!..... 3 a day was my dosage , i only use them if there is nothing els now !!......

I had a burst burser patella in my knee in November. One of the fluid sacks burst and my knee swelled up to twice its size and I couldn't walk. This then caused cellulitis in my leg so a few trips to hospital needed. It's still swollen now so try to stay off my knees as much as possible

Have been using them for about six years was on three a day but down to one a day never had any side effects
I have been told they are bad for your stomach thats why I cut the dosage but could not work with them

I'm sure.. it is an old knee problem that flares up now and again .. seems to be better since i have switched anti inflammatory tablets to Naproxin..
