Bond It?

Anyone familiar with the brand BOND IT? i buy quite a lot of materials from Build fix kinda like screw fix and they have some right good deals on adhesives, grouts, primers etc by this brand. Not sure if it comes with the old 10 year guarantee though so might stay clear....

Hello simmy, I buy 12 gal of pva at a time from a firm up in bradford and has always been good stuff to use but the last load I had there was somethink not right.It runny felt it had no body to it so wont be using again IMO

Yeh, see ive been tiling on and off for about 4 years and have rarely used the same brand more than 3 times,due to where the jobs are located and my lack of experience in knowing how much in quantity i will need for a job and prices n stuff. Just the prices for that Bond it gear were eye catching and im getting a lot more workload now, just wanted to know if anyone had used it maybe save a few bob..also could have gotten it delivered to my house which is easier for me.

Nearest Platform to me is Glasgow which is a bit of a drive from where i stay if i want good gear...weber Bal..and even at that they dont always stock the right primers etc which is a pain in the A***

I would'nt use pva for tiling mate, Use the primers or sbr

simmy why dont you call Andy at CONTINENTAL TILE SUPPLIES in Kirkintilloch and tell him i put you on to him and he will sort you out with prices and products etc..the number is 0141 776 2500

I have used the buildbase Silicon and its ok but never the tiling adhesive etc.

Hi Simmy, I've used their pva many times and it's good stuff (for plastering) don't know about any of their other products though...Mark.

A double glazing firm I know use Bond it all the time but for tiling ?????? Only a pound a tube trade so probably not eh
