hi ! totaly unrelated to tiling but thought id ask  . iam having a damproof course put in my house that iam trying to sell, victorian 3 bed semi £150,000 if anyones interested . had a guy round to quote me and i asked how he would render it etc, he said a sand and cement first coat with the salt retarder in then a second coat of bonding would go over the sand and cement before the skim. ive had a few dpc done over the years and never herd of bonding going over sand and cement ? anyone no if this is common practice ? he did say there would be to much slumping of the sand and cement with one coat on . appreciate any feed back thanks !
