i am tiling my own bathroom this weekend (not getting paid) and am running a jonsons tamara border (floor to ceiling either side of the sink) straight set tiles 2 rows inbetween and brick bond all the rest. 2 questions that are niggling me.
firstly the border is marble travertine glass and chrome. the glass and the chrome are set back from the rest if you know what i mean??? how do i set these. if i put the marble level with the field tiles how can i grout the glass that is set back from the rest, or do i level the part of the border that is the thinnest and have the marble standing out???? that way i could grout the lot???? hope you know what i am waffling about. phoned johnsons and they didnt know???
secondly if doing brickbond either side of the border would it look ok if i dont start with a full tile/ half tile and use 1/3 of a tile 2/3 tile obviously the same either side of the border
