cant get my head around what to charge to do these , at the moment i don't charge any extra on top of my price per m2 and they always end up giving me the hump because they slow you down and are 9 times out of 10 ten are thrown at you last minute , so was thinking for just a normal ceramic border £5 per linear metre mosaic £10 Per Linear does that sound to much ?

I always charge for borders/feature strips. They take longer to set out and potentially longer to fix if you have to prep for different tile thicknesses. It takes more tore time so therefore you want reimbursing for it. If you asked the customer whether they would do 3 hours overtime for nothing then you know what the answer would be, so why should you!!!!

I don't think you're far of the mark with those prices either

I'd go with those prices....if you find there not enough then up them for next time.

I just do them as all part of the quote, unless i have to spend time building them out, but this is explained to them during the quoting stage..
