boxing in a bath

hi all, im on a job just now that requires the bath to be boxed in and tiled.the joiner has put a marine ply board over the front of bath is this sufficient to tile straight onto?? cheers

I wouldn't like to use any form of ply in a bathroom.

Too much moisture floating around to deform plywood.

if ply has to used, marine is the one to use..

ok thats gr8,i have no choice in it the joiners already built it,,so i can tile direct onto this with a self priming adhesive?

i would prime it and tile with flexible bagged gear
