Here we have the brand new installation guide for HardieBacker tile backerboard.

Would it be possible to put version numbers on the documents moving forward ? (Some have xx/year on them ? )

There are. I used a pallet of HB this week for flooring.
I still would never use it on walls though.
Some customers just want to spend silly money on "the best".
So let them!

Sorry for going off topic but can I ask - did you use the hardie board with a decoupling membrane on top - or did you tile straight on top (also what adhesive you used)

Multiple small bathroom floors. Some were levelled with BAL Levelmax and tiled with BAL rapid flex one.

Cheers - so no decoupling membrane used, just tiled straight on top?

No need to uncouple on top of hardie generally. Hardie is uncoupling from the substrate already of sorts.
