Brick Bond

Hi Guys,

Ive finished a kitchen brick bond style where ive wrapped round the walls.

Now ready to grout but need your advice in whether i should grout in vertical corners or leave it as it might spoil the effect of the wrap round effect.

Tiles are polished black 200 x 100 and will be white grout.

never grout the corners always silcone them .........you could use black silcone.

i use a clear Silicon, as it keeps the look good, and seals the corner too.

i'd use one the same colour as the tiles, or failing that a clear one, but defo do not grout it.

As above, don't grout Silicon and some pics would be nice......

Not a perfect job as so many restrictions and obstacles but customer very happy .

Depends what you want the final look to be - the right way is the way you want it to look!

White accentuates patterns and features, colour matched accentuates the tiles and sometimes the pattern, clear leaves the tiles looking like nothing happened!

You could always but 3 tubes of Silicon (Mapei do 26 different colours) and try each in turn. Its easy to cut out one and try the next - just let it dry for 24 hours first.
