I'm guessing it was the cable near the actual hand brake? Not where it splits beyond that?

I had mine snapping on me twice. Did dent a roof with an elbow 🙂

Cables or caliper? Keep in mind that you got 4 cables on your hand brake system

Just the cables fortunately, I thought it might have to have the rear calipers done as they are prone to breaking on the vivaro, but not this time, a lucky escape!

Yeah it was frayed and stretched right at the front.
