BS 5385 help please.....

Hi,

I have had a trader in and he has dot and dabbed and I need to explain there is a code of practice to stick to when spreading adhesive and laying the tiles. (BS 5385)

He has dot and dabbed and caused my tiles to crack. The substrate is concrete and pretty level. House is only 7 years old.

He’s telling me it’s fine and he will come back and fill the voids with a levelling compound.

I am terminating the job and want him gone. Is there a link to show and explain this BS 5385 code to him?

Any help would be appreciated.
