if your ever in glasgow charlie1 you should nip into billstoolstore at the barras, they sell the bucket trowels for a good price, i dont and cant use a big trowel like the pic you posted but i do have a smaller one wich is perfect for mixing and scraping and cleaning, 2 quid and iv had for over 1 year and a half, mixing wall/floor adhesive/grout and for all the usual things

I use the rubi ones but with mine if the hammer doesn't take every morsel off I have a 5 quid diamond blade that sharp cleans it up. I'm a bit OCD like that. My rubi trowels are pretty clean but I never grind them clean. Good old Harris brush does the business there!

lol, i know what you mean, i had to use my grinder today to sharpen my pencil as lost my knife

This is what I use, no idea what make it is. I reckon it's about 2 years old now.
