its the opening game...no need to worry.

we'll win the next 2 games and the group and then its the fun time..just hope stevie gets a deliberate booking in the next game, so he's suspended for the 3rd group match. dont want him missing the knockout stage. i thought he looked the part tonight. if we stick him in place of heskey as the tournamnent progresses, then we'll see a real attacking threat from england...

Problem over here Rob is that at one time we always had a very good goalkeeper, but last 20 yrs we have struggled, so when butter fingers chucked it in his own goal last night we all thought, here we go again.

Your right MG but thats just how it is unfortunatley. Seaman was a great keeper but everyone remembers him being lobbed by Ronaldiniho and not some of the great saves he made

goalkeepers are always remembered for their clangers not their brilliant saves, goes with the job. And yes I had forgotten about david seaman, apologies Gisella. I also felt for the lad last night and hope he can take a bit of ribbing today to get him over it. I would play him in every match so not to break him. (The butterfingers bit was a joke too G)
