re unloading look at yellow lines on footpath for loading bans.

you do know that if you drive off before the ticket is put on the windscreen there is nothing the wardens/inspectors can do about it. i was lucky last week as i was parked on a double yellow so i put a piece of paper in the windscreen 'working in number 18' and the lovely female inspector knocked the door and told me to move my van. she did say next time i'll get a ticket!!

I think they changed that law Mike, before you had to be served with the notice but now they can send em in the post i believe

I got one on sunday, parked in Kendal Market square for 20 mins while I nipped to argos to get Gabriel a skateboard, £35 if I pay in 28 days or £70 if I don't. I knew I should have got him the £25 board in sports direct:lol:

My brother used to have a young lad working for him whose mother was the only traffic warden in a small town. She was infamous for who or what she would book but her lowest point came when she ticketed an ambulance on a 999 call and even gave the driver a talking to when he appeared with the patient on a stretcher.

It was a long time ago but this woman was a nazi. She'd ticket delivery vehicles at 9am on a Monday when there was no chance of obstruction. She even had a go at an occupied hearse once.She could cover distance at superhuman speed when her senses told her about someone stopping on a yellow.
