Hi i am new to the forum and would like 2 say hi to everyone on here i would like help with a price please.
The job is in the kitchen, and consists of removing the existing tiles and then re-tiling 14m2 of ceramic wall tiles. The walls are quite flat, has 5 sockets and i will need to work around the cupboards.
Any feedback would be grateful.

I don't know if a :welcome: is in order as this is your 2nd post but :welcome: anyway!

As stated prices cannot be discussed in open forum and only in the Tilers Arms which you need to be established before you gain admittence.
It would be almost impossible from your information provided for anyone to supply a guide to costs as so many other factors have to be taken into consideration - travel time, job location, parking fees, distance to sandwich shop!
However as a guide I would estimate 14sq mts in a kitchen to take approx 3 days work and this would be dependant on the state of the walls once the present tiles have been removed.
Then again if its a mosaic tile you could be doubling the labour time and if you cannot get a decent bacon butty locally - then it could be longer!
Keep posting and asking questions and you'll soon get into the 'Arms'.

its difficult when you start out to know what to charge

if your new to tiling its best to give a price rather than a dayrate as you cant expect the customer to pay for your lack of experiance

you need a happy customer to reccomend you on and for references

so its take your time and do your best job

swallow any losses graciously you will soon learn with experiance how long it will take you and what price you can get materials for

also your speeds improve as you go on making you competitive on a higher dayrate

i can see where tf is coming from on this ruling............so keep posting

timeless is right .........your asking us how long a bit of string is
